Bearded Dragon Eggs

Lizzy was starting to use her back legs, taking 8 or 9 steps at a time, when another clutch of eggs came along. Over a four-day period, she laid eleven eggs. Keep in mind, there is no male bearded dragon in the house so these are unfertilized eggs, like the chicken eggs we buy in the grocery store – no little critters inside the eggs. But the frequent egg-laying injured a nerve in her rear legs (the obdurator nerve) and set her back in her walking. She will probably never have a completely normal walk, but she might be able to take a few steps to get around. And Lizzy says she will be fine, she just needs more time. But Lizzy also says, “Getting old sucks.”
