I was reminded yesterday that positive thoughts are very powerful. We all can take advantage of this with our animals. When I first brought Bruno to my house, he was an emotional mess. I was his fourth or fifth home and his fear was causing him to be very protective and aggressive. He fought when I picked him up and there was no thought in his mind of snuggling. He just wanted to be left alone.
But I’m an animal communicator and I know the power of sending a message to an animal. The second day he was with us, I put him on my chest, up at my shoulder, and brought him outdoors in the sunshine. He was tense!!! But I got myself real calm and quiet, took a couple of deep breaths, and said in my head, “I love you and I will always take care of you.”
What a surprise for Bruno. He gave me a look of “You’re talking with me? No one has ever done that!” His muscles relaxed and he continued to stare at my face for another ten minutes. And from that moment on, he eased up and started to become the snugly, personable bearded dragon that we’ve all grown to know and love.
Bruno has learned that this messaging works both ways. When he wants something, he stares at me real hard to get my attention. I then use my animal communication skills to learn what he wants, and let him know “yes” or “no.”
Animals are tuning in to our thoughts and feelings all the time. If we use this to help them, we can send them simple messages. We all have the ability to do this, it’s just a matter of trying it because our positive thoughts are very powerful.
